Iris stops working when using Netflix

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5  16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Iris works fantastic 99% of the time but it occasionally stops working when watching Netflix though my browser. On both Chrome and Safari. Sometimes it'll just go out for a few seconds but other times it will completely go out. App is still active and settings show it should still be reduced blue point but screen is at full brightness and full Kelvin. Quitting and restarting the app does not fix it. In fact, even if I quit it and than start F.lux that will not work either. Only way to fix it is to restart computer.

Any idea what is going on? Its been like this for a very long time.

Can you try using Type: Overlay to see if it maybe helps?
Also, updating to the latest version from here:

might help in this situation

Hi, sorry for the delay in response. I bought a new 2016 MacBook Pro 15” and wanted to test it out for 2 weeks to see if iris was having any problems with it before I got back to you. It seems to be working fine. The only issue I had was occasionally the screen would flicker full color/brightness for a second and 5hen go back to properly set iris color. I found a setting in the display section that switches the graphic usage occasionally to save battery power. Once I turned that off I do not seem to be having the problem anymore with the new MacBook.

My previous MacBook was using high sierra. I do not have it available to troubleshoot anymore as I sold it to a friend.

Hi,
The flickering is happening exactly because of the graphics card switching, it's normal since Iris is using your video card to change colors
