Why do our phones emit blue light if it’s so bad for us?

Blue light truly is harmful for us, because it controls our circadian rhythm – it tells our brain when itโ€™s time to fall asleep and when you see it during the night from your PC, you canโ€™t fall asleep – your brain thinks that itโ€™s still a day.

What you can do is to try a blue light filter like the one from the picture above –ย Iris.

There you can control how much blue light youโ€™ll get. You can decrease it till 100% like in the picture or you can make it something like this:

During the day I let my screen emit more blue light because it is closer to the light that surrounds me.

At night I block almost all of it, which has improved my sleep a lot.
